Working Time Account 2.04.02

"Working Time Account" is an enhanced version of the "Worktime recording" app. It allows users to track and organize their personal working and free time efficiently.

One of the key features of this app is the ability to manage multiple workstations. This means that users can switch between different jobs or projects without losing their previous data. It provides a convenient way to keep track of parallel jobs or projects separately.

The app offers various views, including daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly, which can be accessed on a mobile phone. Users can also define their preferred standard view. This feature allows for easy navigation and clear presentation of working hours and schedules.

A widget can be created for each workstation to easily stamp and unstamp working hours. This adds convenience and saves time for users.

In addition to on-screen displays, the app allows users to generate reports in PDF or CSV format on a weekly, monthly, or annual basis. These reports can be sent via email or messenger or transferred to a printer app. This feature facilitates the efficient analysis and sharing of working time data.

The app offers two shift models:

• Subshifts: In this model, the working day is divided into multiple time blocks. Users can preset the core time, break time, location, and other predefined values for each block. In the day view, all defined shifts are listed, and users can modify the values as needed. This shift model is ideal for those who work multiple short shifts, such as in the catering or nursing sector.
• Full shifts or alternating shifts: In this model, the working day consists of one shift with periodically changing times. Users can create templates for each shift, including predefined core times, break times, work locations, and flat-rate values. In the day view, only one shift appears, and users can select the relevant template for that day. This shift model is suitable for those who typically work one shift per day, alternating shifts (e.g., early, late, and night shifts), or on multiple projects for different clients.

Users can also add additional daily shifts as needed. This allows for flexibility in recording absences or specific working conditions (e.g., half-day holidays or 25% incapacity to work).

In terms of time-off management, the app includes a simple feature to track holidays. Users can enter their entitlement to annual leave and the remaining leave at the start of recording in the settings. The app displays the current status of leave days in the year view at any time. The remaining holiday from the previous year is carried over and can be taken up to a specific key date (default setting on 31 March). Any unused leave beyond this date will expire. Users also have the option to overwrite the calculated leave entitlement if needed.

To ensure data security, the app includes a data backup function. Users can create daily backups with just a touch and store them in the desired location. Data restoration is also straightforward, and users have the ability to transfer their data to another device seamlessly.

The app utilizes the open-source version of "PDFjet" (www.pdfjet.com) to generate PDF files.
